Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy – CBT

Cognitive Behavioural TherapyCognitive Behavioural Therapy – CBT – is based on the premise that our thinking and beliefs about ourselves, others, our world and the future, has a vital influence on how we feel and do things.

The continual interchange of your intrusive negative thoughts, negative emotions and negative behaviours, relating to past or present traumas, can trigger a vicious cycle of avoidance or reaction.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy  is used to help you better understand the situations that trigger anxious feelings. The key tools taught in this intervention, enables you to discover a new range of cognitive strategies (self-talk and behaviours) that decrease anxiety symptoms and promote positive thinking.  Providing you with powerful techniques and methods that help you change how you think and act, in order to build positive self-esteem, and increase your sense of self-worth and achievement. Supporting you in developing effective thinking skills which improve your  mental health and well-being.

Empowerment Coaching then offers you the perfect compliment to Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, by providing you with the amazing opportunity to explore and discover new possibilities and experiences, that enable you to grow and evolve with confidence,  whatever new direction you choose to take.
