Our whole world is made up of thoughts. It is how we actually interpret those thoughts in our own minds, which gives us the creative power over whether we accept them or reject them. Our subconscious takes all that creative thought, real or not, and uses it to create reality, and in doing so, those thoughts and emotions begin to create your world!
These emotions are a product of our own thinking process. How we perceive a situation in times of stress, anxiety, or during any emotional uncertainty, actually causes our body to respond in that manner. So by changing the perception, we change the response.
Yes, it really is as easy as that!.... Don't deny yourself the freedom you deserve, It's Your choice..
By combining techniques from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Hypnotherapy, it has been proved that the effect and speed of change is greater. The Cognitive Hypnotherapy approach, starts by looking at your own personal perceptions and thought processes as they relate to your present emotions.
By using Cognitive Hypnotherapy you can learn to understand the influences those stressful events have on the mind, through a series of gentle, therapeutic communications between yourself and the therapist. It can help you to identify all your unwanted emotions and accompanying thoughts, once identified, we can then look for ways in which any of those distorted or unhelpful thoughts relate to those emotions, thus allowing you to discover new alternative ways of thinking, which are more positive and solution-focused and enable you to set clear and realistic goals, which you feel comfortable with, and inspired by.
Cognitive Hypnotherapy is a very powerful, safe and effective form of therapy. Each of us have the capabilities to control every one of our thoughts and emotions. Hypnotherapy makes it easier, it is a wonderful release, and it also allows you to make those releases comfortably and calmly

There are many fears that we may face in life, some more extreme than others. Some of these could be:
Fear of Failure
Fear of Rejection
Fear of Loneliness
Fear of Crowds
Fear of Enclosed Spaces
These are only a few of the many fears people suffer, but there are many, many more.
Every irrational fear, anxiety or phobia is a state of mind, many of them arising through unpleasant childhood experiences, which have been recalled again in later life when similar experiences have occurred. Any stressful or emotional event from a persons childhood is automatically stored, unanalysed in a childs brain, and this can often start off a pattern of negative behaviour, which can very easily increase up to a point where it becomes the dominant faculty.
A repetition of any such events or associated stressful events may then produce even greater anxiety in the childs mind and the problems continue to grow. This can then ultimately lead the adult sufferer into concluding that this particular situation or event is far too stressful to face and that they have absolutely no control over it, so they deliberately avoid having to confront it. But in turn, the fear continues to grow, causing the person to be faced with increasingly stressful anxiety attacks. Giving the victim a feeling of being trapped, or threatened.
Most people who suffer from anxiety in any form, respond to it through avoidance. Our anxieties make us want to get away, so we have to learn how to manage that conflict in our minds. When you can understand or confront your fears, you can then realise you are able to cope with, and conquer them successfully.

Who am I? How can I Help?
I am a Qualified and Experienced Clinical Hypnotherapist, working under the strict code of Ethics and High Standards of the Professional Board of Hypnotherapists. I am also a trained Mentor, and qualified Cognitive Behavioral Therapist. My work is based in the Coventry and Warwickshire area, where I hold my successful and busy practice at the Cottage Therapy Centre 12 New Street, Kenilworth, CV8 2EZ. I have full Professional Indemnity Insurance, and always endeavour to maintain client confidentiality
I offer a FREE CONSULTATION and FREE MENTORING in between sessions, by phone or email to provide extra support and encouragement as you progress through your pathway. Each paying session lasts about an hour an a half, and may be recorded, so that by the end of your full programme, you will have a CD, individual to your needs, which you can take away with you and use at any time.
Our subconscious minds can recall deep-seated or buried information, from any time in our lifetimes, and then use this information in the form of automatic responses, like those of anxieties/fear or unwanted behavioural patterns. Once those unwanted behavioural patterns have been traced and identified through hypnosis, you are then able to address these events through a gentle therapeutic process which enables you to gain a degree of self-understanding, before removing those unwanted behaviours from your mind, so they can no longer bother you in the future.
So whatever new beneficial thought the client concentrates on during hypnosis, actually becomes a reality. Belief intensifies it, and once the client has turned their attention to their desired result in overcoming their fear. Success is as good as theirs! The client creates that result, therefore they effectively remove the feelings of panic or fear, and restore confidence and control by using their own Power of choice.
Wish to know more?…..Contact Cathy for a FREE consultation…..the choice is yours…..You don't have to suffer the cycle of your own fears. The decisions and choices we all make, shape who and what we become. Don’t deny yourself the freedom and peace you deserve! Allow yourself to be inspired!
